DIRECTOR APPOINTMENT

The Board of Labat Africa (“Board”) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Mike Stringer (“Mike”) as an executive director on to the Board of Directors.

During 2019, Mike joined Labat Africa through the acquisition of The Highly Creative Proprietary Limited as announced last year. Mike was appointed as the Managing Director to head up the Labat Healthcare operations and will now join the Board to help drive the growth strategy, particularly into the cannabis and hemp industries, which he has researched for over six years.

Mike has over 30 years’ experience in the Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (“API”) industry and has operated in both the USA and European Union. He was the former CEO for a leading Cape Town based API Manufacturer in South Africa. Together with his API experience, Mike has a wealth of experience in both the regulatory and Pharma technical fields as well as an extensive network, both locally and internationally. Mike has completed an Executive Leadership Programme (UCT) and an MBA in Leadership and Sustainability (UK).
